CBD tincture
The Sisters of the Valley CBD tincture and the original CBD-infused oils are essentially the same product but made with different bases. The CBD-infused oil uses a coconut oil base and has a milder taste. Meanwhile, the CBD tincture uses a 100% food-grade alcohol base and thus, tastes bitter. This bitter taste of the alcohol-based tincture helps it to act faster when dropped on the tongue. The potency varies slightly by batch.

Volume
12 x 1 oz. (30 ml) or 12 x 2 oz. (60 ml) of CBD tincture (w/ dropper).

Dosage
Each 1 oz bottle contains ~250 mg of CBD.  Each  2 oz bottle contains ~500 mg of CBD.  A recommended starting serving size is 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml).  Adjust according to size, response, and medical need.  There are 12 one-half teaspoon servings in a small bottle and 24 one-half teaspoon servings in a large bottle.

Warning
Tincture by definition means drawing the medicine from the plant using alcohol. The Sisters use grain alcohol that is harsh-tasting to the tongue. For those who want immediate relief, that harsh taste helps with immediate absorption. For children, pets, the elderly, or anyone who would react negatively to the severe biting taste on the tongue, the tincture should be diluted with water, juice, or tea before ingesting.

The CBD tincture is made of high-quality, 100% food-grade alcohol infused with the high-CBD hemp plant.  The Sisters' products are made with high-CBD strains of the hemp (cannabis) plant, which have only trace amounts of THC.
