The Sisters of the Valley are growing a small functional-mushroom line out of our own lab, led by our Super 17 mushroom coffee. At the Sisters of the Valley, everything begins with one simple promise: to share healing through nature's own gifts. The way we grow, make, and offer our products comes back to a few things we will not compromise on, integrity, quality, and sustainability. As we expand our functional-mushroom work, those are the values guiding what we make and who we make it with.
What functional mushrooms are
Functional mushrooms are everyday, non-psychedelic mushrooms that people have leaned on for generations as part of a wellness routine, names like reishi, lion's mane, cordyceps, turkey tail, and chaga. They are food and supplement ingredients, not anything intoxicating. We will be honest with you the way we always are: functional mushrooms are still a fairly unexplored corner of nutrition, and the research is ongoing. Many people simply find them a grounding part of their morning. We make no promises beyond that, and we always say talk with your own doctor first, especially if you take other medications or are managing a health condition.
What we actually make
Our mushroom line right now is built around Super 17 mushroom coffee, a warm, cocoa-and-tea-based brew blended with functional mushrooms and supportive herbs. It is the blend our enclave reaches for in the morning, and it is what we have poured our lab work into so far. We do not currently sell grow-your-own spore kits; our focus is the ready-to-drink blend below. Here is how the mushroom collection breaks down, so you can pick what suits you:

Super 17 is made with organic ingredients, including cocoa, black tea, reishi, lion's mane, cordyceps, turkey tail, chaga, shiitake, ashwagandha, turmeric, ginger, and warming spices. It is gentle on caffeine, with far less than a regular cup of coffee. As with any new food, if a blend does not agree with you, take less or stop, and be sensible.
How we make it, and how you can trust it
Our mushroom coffee is blended by hand in our own lab and third-party lab tested for potency and purity, the same standard we hold our CBD to. We are a women-led sisterhood working out of Merced, California, and we would rather tell you honestly what we know and do not know than oversell you. These products are not evaluated by the FDA, and they are not meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
