The collectible cards that are exclusively available with purchases of Sisters of the Valley flower in California Catalyst and Traditional dispensaries. None of these women from history have images that survived; some have renderings from artists made long after the women were gone. Lillian the Artist rendered the card images with inspiration from the images of the actual new-age Sisters of the Valley.
The collectible card is shown first, followed by the images inspiring the image of the Matriarch from history. There are 8 matriarch cards, two enclave cards, two Goddess cards and a sesh card in every deck. Next season's deck will be centered upon the lost matriarchs of Latin America and may well be in Spanish. Thank you for sharing this journey with us.

The Sisters
We are the activist Sisters of The Valley, and we are on a mission to heal the world through plant-based medicine.
Like our Beguine ancestors, we are scholars who work together, pray together, and are dressed to identify our enclave.
Nestled in the impoverished but agriculturally rich Central Valley, our order makes honorable jobs to support our community through organic health products.
All products are hand-made by women; saged to the moon cycles, set on the new moon, and bottled under the full moon.
Our medicine-making is guided by ancient tradition, with care and respect for the Earth’s plants.

Sister Kate
Founding Abbess, Sisters of the Valley
Sister Kate is the Founding Abbess of the Sisters of the Valley and the visionary force behind the modern revival of this matriarchal movement. After a devastating divorce forced her to leave a career in corporate consulting, she redirected her energy toward service — turning to California’s emerging medical cannabis industry to bring healing to those in need.
In 2009, she founded a nonprofit cannabis collective, and by 2010 was serving cannabidiol-based medicine to terminally ill patients. Recognizing the importance of accessible and non-psychoactive options, she developed teas and tinctures that allowed patients to benefit from the plant’s healing properties without smoking.
By 2014, under the Harvest Moon, Sister Kate founded the Sisters of the Valley — a spiritual and entrepreneurial sisterhood dedicated to healing the people and the planet through plant-based medicine, prayer, and community. As Abbess, she continues to guide the global Sisterhood with vision, courage, and unwavering devotion to the principles of service, sovereignty, and compassion. -

Sister Camila — Founder, Sisters of the Valley Mexico & Las Hermanas del Valle the Latin America branch
Sister Camila is the founder of Sisters of the Valley Mexico and serves as Leader of Latin America for the global Sisterhood. Born in Puebla, Mexico, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s in Economic Sciences from the Autonomous University of Baja California. With extensive experience in administration, logistics, and strategic development, she has been a driving force in expanding the Sisterhood’s mission throughout Latin America — building bridges between science, spirituality, and social reform.
In 2018, she established Sisters of the Valley Mexico, the first international enclave of the Sisterhood, merging social entrepreneurship, environmental awareness, female empowerment, and cannabis activism. In 2023, she launched Las Hermanas del Valle, the Sisterhood’s official Spanish-language branch, created to unify and inspire communities across Latin America and Spain through education, ceremony, and shared purpose.
Since 2019, Sister Camila has led workshops and courses in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Spain, and the United States on home-based extractions and the responsible use of cannabis derivatives. Today, she oversees research, education, and development for the Sisterhood’s Latin American enclaves — guiding a growing movement devoted to healing, sustainability, and the advancement of women’s sovereignty across the region. -
Sister Esme
Director of the Ministry
Sister Esme is a minister and artist of the Sisters of the Valley. As Director of the Ministry, she oversees the spiritual and communal well-being of the Sisterhood — the branch of the organization devoted to education, ceremony, and the development of its internal community. Her role bridges heart and structure, guiding the human and spiritual dynamics that sustain the global Sisterhood.
Her path weaves together creativity, spirituality, and service, grounded in a deep commitment to healing and collective care. As an artist, she creates meditative linework and folk-inspired illustrations that celebrate women, spirituality, and ancestral traditions. Her work serves both as personal expression and as a way to honor the wisdom of those who came before, carrying their stories into the present.
Guided by love, resilience, and ancestral energy, Sister Esme continues to unite art, ministry, and service in harmony with the Earth — nurturing the spirit of the Sisterhood and ensuring its growth remains rooted in compassion, integrity, and collective care.
